RW Voltage Large cap silver mist.
Well over the past few years I have ordered at least 10 RW Voltage wigs and sorry to say out of all of them, only about 3 do I feel comfortable wearing …..I know I can return each time, which I did a couple of times, but it’s costly, so I tried fixing them to my liking, but only wear around the house…..save the good ones for when I’m going out. So, I recently ordered another Voltage and again, I had to work on it ….now wish I had returned it. Now again, just today, I ordered another Voltage and am hoping it turns out good! So wish me luck!

VOLTAGE Large - the start of my Journey
My first wig purchase was VOLTAGE Large and I am very happy with that wig. I have a large head and a low forehead, so one of my issues is getting good coverage without too much hair right at my forehead. Fortunately, I ordered Voltage to match my natural hair colour and pulled some of my own (thin) hair out the front at my forehead to blend the wig with my own hair AND not have to set the wig quite so far forward, right at my (low) hair line. Within two weeks of wearing Voltage around home, I got comfortable with wearing a wig and went public. Voltage is the same as my own hair but of course, with no thin spots. Lots of compliments received and most people thought it was my natural hair and a great hair dresser! I ordered two more of Voltage Large for back up. The third Voltage has a lump in the permatease - a flaw in the wig, but I'll return it to chiquel for a replacement. Ladies, if you order a wig as a spare, be sure to check it upon receipt. I almost set the spare Voltage (in the box) on a shelf, without checking it. TIP: You'll find your way using different wig caps, wig grip bands etc to best secure your wig. I found wig clips were my final choice to position and hold my wigs in place. As long as I have my natural hair, I'll sew the clips into my wigs. I do position them differently inside one wig to the next so that the clip isn't always clipped to my hair in the same place. Then I looked at GALA Large, placed my order and again matched her to my natural grey. Another fabulous wig for me. Requiring a Large Size Wig narrows down my options, but fortunately at this point in my life, I am looking for a classy/conservative wig that fits comfortably, and looks natural. And GALA fits the bill. If you have a large head, GALA is a very comfortable wig to wear. And she has lots of nice volume when and where you want it, but GALA also tucks behind your ears and pats down nicely to look career professional. I stepped out of the office yesterday to walk to the mail room and the wind fluffed up GALA. Made me laugh. I just patted her back down as I was re-entering the building and remembering the earlier years when I had a very thick head of hair and was always trying to manage it. Now that my hair is thin, especially at the front, I think back to those thick hair days and how I grumbled. GALA is the hair I used to have. VOLTAGE is the style I would occasionally create with products and curlers. Now I have both and frankly....it feels wonderful!

I purchased VOLTAGE Large in Gradient Charcoal, which is my natural colour. If I ordered in a different colour, I wanted to first make sure I liked the style. And I do. I ordered another, identical colour during CHIQUEL's sale and one is my day to day wig, the other is my "Out on the Town" wig. As it turns out, Voltage is so easy to wear and style, and so versatile, I could get by with one wig but I'm glad I have two. I'm going to try to wear these two wigs out! Such a nice style, and it's how I would wear my natural hair if it wasn't so thin. Having had exceptionally thick healthy hair most of my life, Voltage gives me back the volume that I used to take for granted. I have since added TREND SETTER Large to my collection in Gradient Charcoal (I'm so bold, eh?) ...it's like my hair grew a bit. These RW wigs (large) fit me perfect. At my age, I don't need the various styles, so it's not an issue that all wigs don't come in large. I'm wanting a nice style that I'm happy with, anywhere, any time of the day. As you'll see from the photos, I'm a pretty regular gal. I might add that trying to take a selfie is not the easiest task. I can't seem to get the best shot of VOLTAGE. My experience with CHIQUEL has been very good. Email communication has been speedy, delivery is about one week, unless on back order. I feel like I'm connected to a company of "people". They have a broad range of styles and colour and the sales are frequent. If you miss the sale, make an offer. CHIQUEL is easy to work with.
