This is my fourth wig but my first remy real hair wig and I can’t love it more ! Losing my long beautiful hair to cancer treatments was very hard and the other wigs I got were great ...but there is nothing like A wig made with real hair . I’ll never be able to buy synthetic again , it is so worth the price ! No one believes it’s a wig and I never catch people looking at me with the look like “ does she have a wig on “ . Thanks so much for making such great products they’ve given me my confidence back during this tough time in my life.
I got Kim in 12fs12 and the color is sublime. The rooting is just the right shade of darker blonde and I love the delicate combination of blondes highlighted throughout. The lace is strong and invisible, the style is long but subtle; it doesn't look like an unrealistic amount of hair. After washing, the hair behaved beautifully, getting fuller with a subtle wave when left to dry naturally. I was happy with how it tolerated and held curls. The only reason I withheld one star from this otherwise 5 star review is because I can tell the hair's vitality won't hold up much past 6 months...after 1 month of wear it's health, moisture balance and shine is fading. It requires A LOT of TLC in terms of conditioners and serums/oils. Something to keep in mind considering the price.
I have been wearing wigs for over ten years now. I have been battling cancer and for the better part of the last ten years, have been bald. I have purchased many human hair wigs from many different sources and prices ranging from 300 to 5000,00 dollars. The Kim by Jon R. has been my staple since it came out. I love the colors I only wear blondes, so I can't speak to the brunettes or other colors. My recent purchase was six months ago and I chose the palm spring blonde and I get tons of compliments! The cap is excellent! Soft and well constructed. It is on the larger side, I have a petite head, but it's easy to adjust and make work. The side wires that mold to your head were not up to par. This would be my only negative about the Kim. She washes well and after six months still no tangles! I flat iron her and she is all silk! Sometimes i let her air dry and then curl her up and that works perfectly as well. I will be purchasing this unit many more times in the future! I've been wearing this unit for six months and she is as good as new.
